<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply monitor a power level of a detected light and improve mobility when an electric field is measured, by integrally fitting a display part for displaying the power level of the light input to a photodetecting element to a case body. SOLUTION: A photodetecting element 3 is a photodiode, receiving an incident light at a photodetecting face thereby generating an electromotive force. An electric signal output from the photodetecting element 3 is split to two. One is amplified at a signal amplifier 10 and connected to a connector 7 mounted in a case body 2. The other output is connected to a liquid crystal digital display part 4 accommodated in the case body 2 integral with the photoetecting element 3. A level of the light entering the photodetecting element 3 is thus displayed. An external spectrum analyzer or oscillator, etc., can be connected to the connector 7 with the use of a conductor 9. In this manner, the photodetecting element 3, the liquid crystal digital display part 4 and a battery 5, etc., are mounted in the case body 2 thereby to constitute an integral-type light signal detector which is useful for optical instrumentation or in an optical communications field.</p> |
