摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an on-column fluorometry by performing a laser irradiation of a plurality of capillaries simultaneously in substance. SOLUTION: A plurality of capillaries 1 are arranged on a plane of glass 5 and irradiated with a laser light 2 from the side of the array of the capillaries along the axis of the array. The capillaries act as convex lens depending on a relationship among the outer radius and the inner radius of the capillaries, the refractive index of a medium 11 outside the capillaries, the refractive index of the material 1 of the capillaries and the refractive index of the medium 10 inside the capillaries. The laser beam is focused repeatedly and travels through the array of the capillaries without diverting from the array axis of the capillaries. Thus, a sufficient laser power reaches the inside of the capillaries to allow simultaneous fluorometry thereby realizing a high sensitivity, a high speed and a high throughput.
