PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide data on an arbitrary electronic publication for a customer by providing a data specifying means which specifies transaction data that a customer demands, a data receiving means, and a data writing means which writes the received transaction data to a storage medium. SOLUTION: Data provided by an electronic BOOK publishing company 13 are stored in an electronic BOOK data storage part 16 connected to an ATM 11 by a cable communication, etc., and they are read out and processed at a transaction request of the data. For example, when a customer utilizes a transaction by payment settlement using a credit card 17, the credit card company 14 is inquired of about the credit of the card data and then the customer specifies and inputs data on a requested electronic publication; and the data specified for a purchase are stored on the IC card 18 of the customer and then the data transaction of the electronic publication using the ATM 11 is completed. Consequently, data of various fields can be sold and customers can easily obtain desired data. |
