<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a contact characteristic by eliminating the difference in the depth between the contact holes of pixel parts and the apertures of the leading-out parts of external input ends. SOLUTION: The external input end of an lead-out line 19 is constituted by forming slits S at this end to divide the end to plural line wires 22. As a result, the thickness of the second interlayer insulating films deposited on the fine wires 22 decreases and the difference from the thickness of the second interlayer insulating films deposited on the source electrodes of the pixel parts decreases and, therefore, the simultaneous formation of the contact holes on the source electrodes and the contact holes CT4 on the fine wires 22 is made possible and the cost is reduced.</p> |
