PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on a user at sound-recording time by providing a storage control means which receives a storage indication for a musical sound, and outputs a transmission indication for the musical sound to external equipment and also stores it in a sample memory means. SOLUTION: The storage instruction for the musical sound is inputted to the sampler 10 through user's operation. Then, the sampler 10 receives this storage instruction and outputs requests to generate and stop the musical sound of all ranges that the user requires in order to an external sound source 40 according to sound-recording parameters. The external sound source 40 outputs plural different source sounds in order at those sound generation/stop requests. The sampler 10 inputs a musical sound as an audio signal outputted sequentially from the external sound source 40. The inputted musical sound is recorded in the sampler 10 associatively at the sound generation/stop requests for the musical sound outputted to the external sound source 40. The transmission instruction and storage instruction for the musical sound to the external equipment can be interlocked with each other to improve the operability. |
