Porous bodies with adsorbent particles - comprise small adsorbent particles bonded to the surfaces of three-dimensional carrier matrices that have been heated to make them tacky. Also claimed are: (i) filter beds comprising agglomerates of these bodies; (ii) filters, preferably plate filters, containing these bodies, for purifying air; and (iii) combined particle and adsorption filters for indoor environments, especially clean rooms or motor vehicle cabins, with an adsorption layer that contains these bodies.
