<p>A musical instrument keyboard comprises a rectangular matrix of manually operable keys, switches, buttons or the like. The pitches associated with the keys are arranged in equi-interval scales along the orthogonal axes of the matrix with rows of major thirds and columns of minor thirds being preferred. Three-dimensional versions are also claimed.</p> |
