Carrier flap with base structure for elevator for loose material

The carrier flap comprises a front covering belt which is driven synchronously with a flap belt (13), and two enclosing side belts. The four belts form a vertical shaft. The carrier flaps (16) are linked to the flap belt by a three-point support consisting of two or more fixtures. The bottom fixture is in the form of a double link. The bottom double link is positioned in the centre of the flap belt. The bottom fixture piece (34) and top fixtures (29,30) form a unit with their base surfaces pointing towards the flap belt extending the whole width of the belt, and joined to parallel strips (31,35) on the backing side of the flap belt. The strips are set into the elastic material of the flap belt and form a smooth running surface with the inside of the flap belt.
