发明名称 SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING LIGHT RAY PATH
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an improved device by the same instruction as used in a conventional device, by incorporating in a test control part a conventional-type first fiber-switching/selecting device an improved-type second and third fiber- switching/selecting devices. SOLUTION: A detecting optical fiber 10 is arranged at each of fiber- switching/selecting devices A1 , E1 , E2 . The detecting optical fiber 10 is connected by a connector to an optical fiber monitoring a ray path. The number of a ray path to be measured is commanded to each fiber-switching/selecting device A1 , E1 , E2 from a personal computer 5, so that a first and a second master optical fibers 12, 14 are switched/connected to the detecting optical fiber 10 of the designated number. A light signal of the ray path is taken into the test control part 1 through the corresponding master optical fiber. A fault point or the like is measured by an OTDR(optical time domain reflectometer) 4, etc. A common command is generated from the personal computer 5 to the fiber-switching/selecting device A1 , E1 , E2 thereby to switch an optical switch.
