The fault/alarm generation quantity measuring method in a full electronic switching system is embodied to accurately measure the generation quantity by message type related to all of fault/alarm to provide the information required for the maintenance of the switching system. The fault/alarm generation quantity measuring method in the full electronic switching system comprises the steps of: accumulating the generation quantity by message and initiating associated variants: requiring the accumulation of the generation quantity in a database to a software; and calculating the generation quantity by the message type related to the fault/alarm generated during measurement time.
