PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce driving energy for a punch means by simplifying a paper sheet transport path for folding the paper, and compactly composing the punch means. SOLUTION: A finisher unit 700 receives a paper sheet discharged from a copying machine by transporting rollers 701, 702, and in a folding/punch process mode, the paper sheet is introduced into a vertical transport path 740. A folding/punch mechanism 750 has a pair of folding rollers 751, 752 and a punching rod 757. The paper sheet introduced into the vertical transport path 740 abuts on the nip part of the transport rollers 743, 744 whose tip is stopped in rotation, and its central part is bent and bitten in between folding rollers 751, 752 and transported to a punching rod 757. When a fixed quantity of the bent paper sheet is transported, a punching rod 757 moves vertically as far as one stroke to punch the paper sheet. |
