An apparatus for recording the information data onto a record medium as groups of audio information data corresponding to the selected M types respectively, is provided with: a data generating device for generating record content information data to identify the selected M types of audio information; and a recording unit for recording the generated record content information data and the groups of audio information data corresponding to the generated record content information data onto the record medium.
