A cord corrector for a blind, consisting of a body member and a locking member, the body member comprises a vertical through-going hole adapted for accommodating at least one first cord and an opening laterally extending through the body member and intersecting the hole. A space within the body member adapted for retaining a knotted end of at least one second cord extending essentially parallel with said at least one first cord, the space having a peripheral aperture with a narrow portion extending proximate to a top end of the hole, and a wide portion separated from the narrow portion via a necking portion. The arrangement being such that insertion of the locking member into the body member clamps the at least one first cord within the hole and wherein angular displacement of the at least one second cord brings about its disengagement from the cord connector.
