<p>The present invention refers to a process to recycle carpet residues containing polyamide by extracting polyamide from carpet residues with an extraction agent containing an aliphatic alcohol, after which polyamide is recovered from extract. Process according to the present invention provides a polyamide high yielding. The presence of another constituents normally used in carpets manufacturing does not interfere with recycling.</p> |
