The outside of one of the metal covering layers (4,6) has a pattern made of embossed strips (2,3) 3 to 20 millimetres wide and 0.1 to 3 millimetres deep. The embossed strips are filled out with lacquer or plastic foil at least in part of their depth. The embossed strips can form sharp-edged curves with radius of between 1.0 and 6.0 millimetres. The metal covering layers can be made of aluminium or aluminium alloy 0.3 to 2 millimetres thick. The core (5) may be 0.8 to 10 millimetres thick and is made of a mixture of thermoplastic plastic, filler and bonding agent.
