PURPOSE:To extend the lubricating life of a shaft remarkably by providing a receiver member connected to a bearing so that a lubricating oil overflowing from a part between the shaft and the bearing is received, and connecting between the sliding part of the bearing and receiver member by a path of the lubricating oil such as a groove or the like. CONSTITUTION:A part of an appropriate amount of the lubricating oil contained in an oil pad 6 is absorbed by a collecting pad 7. However, the remaining oil overflows from an end face of a bearing 3 and gathers in a peak 5. Since a groove 4 is formed at the end face of the bearing 3, the lubricating oil fills the groove 4 because of the capillary phenomenon to be united with a lubricating oil at a sliding surface 10. When the lubricating oil at the sliding surface 10 of the bearing 3 is consumed and reduced, it breaks the balance, whereby a lubricating oil 9 on the peak 5 spreads along the groove in a direction of an arrow A by the capillary phenomenon to the sliding surface 10. Accordingly, the balance is recovered and stabilized at the original state. In this manner, the lubricating oil 9 is gradually returned to the sliding surface 10 in accordance with the consumption of the lubricating oil at the sliding surface 10, and a sufficient amount of the lubricating oil can be used up without waste. |
