<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shift shock by judging that shift starts when fastening reaction detected by detecting means exceeds a predetermined value, judging that shift finishes when the pseudo speed ratio of a torque convertor, found by pseudo speed ratio calculating means, reaches the predetermined value, and changing the output of a prime mover during shift. SOLUTION: During engine operation, the output signals of an engine rotary sensor 4, a transmission rotary sensor 13 and so on are inputted in a computer 3, and firstly, a shift stage is determined from a throttle opening and a vehicle speed. Next, it is judged whether or not upshift is executed, and when the upshift is executed, it is judged whether or not band reaction exceeds a predetermined value on the basis of the load of a prime mover. When YES, it is judged that torque phase is started, and then torque down control is started. Then, the pseudo shift ratio of a torque convertor 6 is compared with the predetermined value, and when the pseudo shift ratio exceeds the predetermined value, it is judged that shift is finished, and then torque down control is finished. During shift, the output of the prime mover is changed so as to reduce a shift shock.</p> |
