PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive wire of multifilaments of which the total loss is made to be the optimum by assembling a resistance bulkhead to an outer circle and adjusting the loss levels in the filaments and inter-filaments according to the position, the thickness, and the property of the bulkhead in the outer circle. SOLUTION: A superconductive wire 1 contains a center region 2 composed by gathering a plurality of superconductive filaments 3 of NbTi, NbTiTa-type, or any other alloy or compound containing Nb as a base, a concentric outer circle 4, and a concentric resistance bulkhead 5 in the cross-section. The resistance bulkhead 5 is built in the concentric outer circle 4 and is made of cupro- nickel, cupro-manganese, or another resistance metal or alloy suitable for the property of the outer circle 4. According to the position, the thickness, and the property of the bulkhead in the outer circle, the loss level of filaments and inter-filaments can be adjusted and the total loss is also made to be the optimum, and moreover the residual specific resistance can be changed. |
