PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic resin which has such an excellent elastic property as will not cause any permanent set in fatigue in a wide temp. range of from a low temp. to a high temp. and to provide an elastic resin molding, clothing, and an auxiliary material for clothing. SOLUTION: This elastic resin is a polyurethane comprising a polyol component of a copolyether polyol between tetrahydrofuran and a 3- alkyltetrahydrofuran, the mol.wt. of a soft segment comprising a copolymerized portion of a polyurethane-urea polymer chain of the polyurethane being not more than La defined by the equation, La=3306×10<0.05066> K (wherein K represents the molar fraction of 3-alkyltetrahydrofuran in the copolyther polyol). At least an elastic portion of the clothing and the auxiliary material for clothing comprises the elastic resin fiber.
