METHOD OF CAPTURE OF RADIO AEROSOLS FROM VAPOR-GAS PHASE

FIELD: prevention of discharges of radio aerosols of cesium into atmosphere in case of serious accidents at nuclear reactors of atomic power stations, during processing of radioactive materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of gaseous ammonia and organic acid in steam-like state into vapor-gas phase with mole relation of ammonia: organic acid amounting to 1.2:1.0 up to 3.0:0.0. Volumetric proportion of mixture of these reagents to vapor-gas phase lies within interval 1:20-1:130. Formed dispersive phase of ammonium salt of organic acid captures aerosols ensuring removal of ratio aerosols of cesium from vapor-gas phase with decontamination factor 500-3000. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method.
