PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthesis image without increasing a memory capacity as required and without making the configuration of hardware complicated. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a read means 100 reading digitally an image on an original, a storage means storing read image data, and an image forming means 300 to form an image, based on the image data read from the storage means. A memory section 302 is provided with a 1st synthesis means storing plural original image data to different areas of the storage means and synthesizing the data in the case of reading, a 2nd synthesis means storing the synthesized image data of the plural originals in a same area of the storage means, and a changeover means selecting the 1st synthesis means or the 2nd synthesis means. In this case, the 1st synthesis means or the 2nd synthesis means is selected to synthesize images and an image is formed, based on the synthesized image data and outputted to a printer 200. |
