PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove iron pieces easily by installing a magnet on the periphery of a casing and a center core in the middle of the inside of the casing in an iron piece removing apparatus which attracts iron pieces contained in a powder or granular material passing through a transportation route. SOLUTION: When a powder is transported in the order of a powder transportation pipe 11, a casing 15, and a powder transportation pipe 12, ion pieces contained in the powder, when passing through the casing 15, cross a magnetic circuit 45 on the peripheral side of the center core 26 and are attracted by either of the center core 26 or the casing 15 by magnetic force applied on the occasion. Especially, since a projection to which magnetic flux concentrates vertically is formed on the peripheral surface of the center core 26, the iron pieces are attracted surely and effectively. After that, a connector 33 is moved upward, and after the casing 15 being detached from a seat 32, a magnet 23 is removed so that the iron pieces attracted on the inner surface of the casing 15 and the outer surface of the center core 26 fall naturally. |
