An interface device having an open agent structure which provides function capable of operating a voice or an electronic pen by means of speech and writings is disclosed. In the interface device, a data input section(201) receives data generated by means of a data input means. A plurality of agents recognize data generated by the data input means. An agent structure calls a corresponding agent when input data is generated and allows an executing function according to input data. A command executing section operates according to an operating control command generated at an operating execution of the agents and outputs the executing result to the agent structure so that the agents recognize the executing result.
