The mode converter is adapted to selectively drive a plurality of power groups by using a single power motor. The mode converter comprises a power motor rotated forwardly and backwardly as a rotary power source, a worm gear rotatably coupled with the power motor, a horizontal idler tooth-coupled with the worm gear and coupled by a horizontal idle lever, first and second intermediate gears selectively tooth-coupled in accordance with the horizontal position of the horizontal idler, first and second vertical idlers tooth-coupled with the first and second intermediate gears and for selecting one of two power gears as moved vertically, a mode gear for determining the coupled position of the horizontal idler and the first and second vertical idlers on a plurality of camp gears, and a mode conveying motor for rotating the mode gear to thereby select a corresponding mode.
