The disclosure relates to a method of quantifying tumour cells in a body fluid. A reaction is first carried out with the sample under investigation by which the RNA component of the telomerase is specifically amplified. The quantity of amplified nucleic acid is then quantitatively determined. Also disclosed are suitable test kits. |
