The milling machine (4) has a raisable and lowerable cutting head (6) such that the cutting units of the turn axes are parallel to a set-up plane when at different heights. The cutting units consist of two free cutting rollers forming a V shape with a middle cutting roller lateral to the forcing direction between them. The hoisting device encompasses a four or more link articulation (30) with two rear link points (34,36) on the machine, one on top of the other and in the lifting direction. Two rear link points in the forcing direction have a much smaller gap between them than those at the front (38,40). The hoisting device has a telescopic connection rod.
