PURPOSE:To obtain the improving material for soil which has strength and holds water permeability and water retaining property in the soil over adequately long period of time. CONSTITUTION:This improving material for permeability and water retaining property of soil consists of calcium silicate particles having 0.5 to 1.2g/cc bulk density. Diatomaceous earth is mainly used as a siliceous raw material and lime or slaked lime as calcareous raw material. An extrusion assistant is added and mixed to and with these raw materials, and thereafter, the mixture is extrusion granulated and the grains are subjected to autoclave curing, by which the calcium silicate grains having 0.5-1.0g/cc bulk density are obtd. |
