The present invention relates to a process for producing vitamin D3 derivatives, which comprises oxidizing a 24hydroxyvitamin D3 derivatives to form a 24-oxovitamin D3 derivatives, silyl-enol-etherifying said compound with an enolizing agent and a silylating agent, oxidizing the etherified compound with a peracid, and subjecting the resulting compound to a hydroxyl-protecting group elimination reaction.
