PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high cushioning force by a method wherein for a tray container-shaped cushioning body made of corrugated fiberboard, a peripheral wall which is formed into a square cylinder form, is arranged around a bottom surface plate, and on the internal sides of the four corners of the peripheral wall, a triangular post-shaped member which is formed by bending an incised piece being formed by an incision on the bottom surface plate, is provided. SOLUTION: A cushioning body 1 which is used when an electric product is packaged, is a tray container-formed cushioning body for which a square cylindrical peripheral wall 3 is arranged around a bottom surface plate 2, and at respective corners of the peripheral wall 3, a triangular post-shaped member 4 is provided. The peripheral wall 3 is formed by bending a peripheral wall forming piece which is extended from the bottom surface plate 2, and in the meantime, the triangular post-shaped member 4 is formed by bending a triangular post forming piece which is formed on the bottom surface plate 2 by an incision. For example, when a microwave oven is packaged, the cushioning body 1 is inserted on both side surfaces of the microwave oven, and the peripheral wall 3 and the top plates of the triangular post- shaped members 4 are brought into contact with the microwave oven to form spaces on both sides, the top and bottom and the front and rear surfaces of the microwave oven, and the microwave oven is protected. Then, the microwave oven is placed in a bottom pedestal, and a cover is placed for the packaging. |
