PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an opto-electronic element module provided with a built-in simple and low-cost bias circuit by a method wherein a voltage drive type photoelectron element has a first connection point connected with the second connection point of a resistor and a second connection point connected electrically with the side of an electric earth. SOLUTION: When an opto-electronic element module is seen from a high-frequency terminal, an impedance matching is made by a resistor (R) 6 via a capacitor (Co) 8 for DC cut use, while when the module is seen from a DC terminal, the resistor (R) 6 and an opto-electronic element 1 are seen in a state that they are series-connected, but as the impedance of the element 1 is a very high one, a DC is merely made to flow by a wA or thereabouts at the most in the actual extent of use. Accordingly, a voltage drop at R=50Ω is 50mV at the most and can be ignored compared to the bias voltage value (normally 1V or more) required for the element 1. Thereby, a high-frequency signal and a DC bias voltage can be independently applied to an opto-electronic element module and an external bias T circuit can be omitted. |
