PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized connector of such a structure that tabs of terminal metal piece are installed in stages. SOLUTION: A metal piece as press contact terminal formed from a tab 44 and pressure welded connection parts 45 having a pressure welded slit 46 to be put in pressure contact with the insulative covering of an electric wire are installed in a housing 11. In a hood 13, tabs 44 are installed in two stages up and down, wherein the connection parts 45 of the metal pieces 43 can be arranged in line on a level by introducing such a structure that the tabs 44 and connection parts 45 are shifted in the vertical and the horizontal direction. Thereby the pressure welding operations for all electric wires can be done in a lump by introducing the operation part of a pressure welding machine through the opening of the housing 11.
