PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for a microwave radiometer receiver having high measuring accuracy by covering a receiver and a waveguide or a coaxial cable with nitrogen gas so as to facilitate estimation of an input noise temperature. SOLUTION: A receiver 1, a waveguide or a coaxial cable 2, a terminal 3 and a liquid nitrogen Dewar vessel 4 are covered with a nitrogen sealer 6 and nitrogen gas is injected by a nitrogen cylinder 7. Then, air is eliminated from the sealer 6 and water vapor is also eliminated. Thus, the waveguide or the cable 2 is prevented from being frozen or frost sticking is prevented and fluctuations in the temperature T of the waveguide or the cable 2 and in an electical loss L are reduced. Thus, since an input noise temperature is accurately estimated, a measuring error is reduced and measuring accuracy is improved. Further, for the receiver 1, freezing or frost sticking is prevented. |
