<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device for transferring a sheet in an image forming device, which can obtain a high torque at a high speed even in a condition such that the speed difference during conveyance of sheets is greater than twice, and which can restrain the heat generation of a motor running at a low speed. SOLUTION: A sheet feed sensor 55 delivers a signal indicating low or high speed conveyance in accordance of a position of a sheet to be conveyed in an image forming device. A control part 52 generates an input pulse signal for a low speed when a signal indicating low speed conveyance is delivered from the sensor 55, so that a two-speed control motor is energized in a single phase mode. Further, the control part 52 generates an input pulse signal for a high speed when a signal indicating high speed conveyance is delivered from the sensor 55, so that the two speed motor 52 is energized in a two phase mode or a 1-2 phase mode.</p> |
