PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film or a coating which overcomes the dispersion limit of conductive particles at random by basically applying a uniform magnetic field to liquid composition formed of conductive particles dispersing in a ferro fluid so as to array the conductive particles at random and fixing their position. SOLUTION: A layer consisting of a ferro fluid composition with solidification property that is a coloidal suspension made of ferromagnetic particles in a non-magnetic carrier liquid and a composition having a plurality of conductive particles dispersed in a ferro fluid, is used for a substrate. Then a magnetic field is applied to the fluid composition to array the conductive particles at a non-random pattern. Further, during this step or in the following step, the layer formed of solidified composition is removed optionally from the substrate under the solidification condition, thereby forming a film. The non-magnetic carrier is solid in a room temperature, and it can be heated while the substrate is applied thereto and/or a magnetic field is applied thereto. |
