PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-media data-reproducing apparatus which can reproduce sentence, image, figure data correlatively and interactively with a time lapse taken into consideration. SOLUTION: A apparatus is provided with an information read means 5 for reading information from a recording medium 1 recording multi-media data of different reproduction methods together with reproduction control information, data reproduction means 41-4N for reproducing data in accordance with corresponding reproduction methods, and a control means 3 for analyzing the information read by the information read means 5 thereby controlling the data reproduction means 41-4N. The control means 3 controls the information read means 5 to read information, specifically, contents of a data unit or data element in accordance with an instruction of the reproduction control information recorded in the recording medium 1, and indicates the data reproduction means 41-4N to reproduce data in accordance with the reproduction methods. Multi-media data are reproduced in this manner. |
