PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easy method of securing a sufficient bonding strength in assembling and manufacturing a simplified container for foodstuffs, in which a bottom sheet made of a synthetic resin excellent in heat and oil resistances, to which a polystyrene resin is inferior, is used. SOLUTION: This container has a structure in which a bottom sheet 2 composed of a thin sheet made of a synthetic resin, or of a foam-molded member, is bonded to a marginal end face of a frame member 1 made of a thermoplastic exapndable synthetic resin. In this case, a fitting and inserting part 3 is provided, whose protrusion formed at an edge rising portion of the bottom sheet 2 is fitted to and inserted into a recess formed in an inner face of the frame member 1. The frame member 1 and the bottom sheet 2 are mechanically junctioned together with the aid of the fitting and inserting part 3 and, in combination with this mechanical junction, a physically junctioning method of welding, or of using a bonding agent, is also employed. Thus, even in the case of using a bottom sheet made of a synthetic resin which is inferior to heat and oil resistances in a polystyrene resin, a simplified container for foodstuffs, which has a sufficient bonding strength and causes no leakage of juice, etc., from processed foods contained in the container, can be obtained. |
