PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an international telephone utilizing system (system, hereafter) capable of using a simplified portable telephone set (PHS, hereafter) and a telephony equipment used for this. SOLUTION: A prescribed number is dialed by means of the dial buttons 18 of a PHS main body 9 to call the system and a security number (an 10 number and a password number) are sent accoroding to the guide of the system side. On the system side, a password number input reading mechanism receives them and in order to confirm the matching to a registered security numbers, disconnectsthe telephone call to call back to PHS from a call back mechanism after confirming. The system side is connected to an international telephone line. A user depresses the international telephone call setting button 14 of PHS and additionally operates the dial buttons to dial the set number for international telephone, the national number, the station number of a long distance call and a city call and the telephone number of a called party. After finishing the call, a call finishing button 13 is depressed to finish operation. A digital display part 11 displays the telephone number of the called party, a calling time, etc. |
