CHARGING DATA TRANSFERRING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system efficiently transferring charging data from an exchange to a charging center at a low cost. SOLUTION: A line equipment 21-a houses a subscriber's line 27-a to transmit/ receive a cell with a subscriber A and collects charging data concerning data transfer using the subscriber's line 27-a. An ATM switch 22 exchanges the cell according to routing information set to the header of the cell. A central processor 24 controls line equipments 21-a to 21-c and an exchange. At the time of receiving a charging data transferring instruction from the central processor 24, the line equipment 21-a stores collected charging data in the cell and transfers the cell to the line equipment 21-c through the ATM switch 22, which transfers the cell to the charging center 12.
