摘要

FIELD: adaptive optical systems. SUBSTANCE: phase modulator has deformed mirror 1, stiff base 2, and piezoids 3 made in the form of rods of cross-shaped transverse section and trapezoidal longitudinal section. Width and height of rod transverse section at its joint with mirror are equal and their sum at its joint with base does not exceed double distance between center lines of adjacent piezoids. The latter are spaced 90 deg apart. Gate electrodes 4 are deposited on side surfaces of rod. EFFECT: increased deformation and extended range of adaptive mirror operating frequencies enabling use of device in adaptive optical information systems of infra-red range. 3 dwg
