TRANSMISSION LINE AND CHARGING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cooled type transmission line for high power capable of supplying high frequency current and a charging and cooling device for an electric vehicle improved by the use of the transmission line. SOLUTION: A water-cooled type power supply line 20 is used to supply power in an electric chaging device 40, and this line 20 has a center tube 33. Inside the tube 33 in which cooling fluid 32 flows, a protrusion 31 is arranged and around the tube 33 a plurality of layers composed of coaxial tubular combined line 34 are arranged. The multiple layers make charging current flow and is divided by layers made of insulator 35. An outer layer than the layer composed of combined line 36 is arranged around the outermost layer made of the insulator 35 and used as a grounding or shielding layer. An outer cylindrical member 37 is arranged around the outer layer made of the combined line 36 and covers the power supply line 20. The protrusion 31 is made of thermoplastic rubber member.
