<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to stabilize electrification and carrying of a toner for a long time, to obtain stable image density and to hardly cause problems such as low developing property, fog, filming or melt sticking for a long time. SOLUTION: This nonmagnetic one-component developer consists of toner particles and a fluidizing agent. The toner particles contain a binder resin, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent and have 4-12μm volume average particle size. The charge amt. Tb (μC/g) of the developer and the charge amt. Ta (μC/g) of the toner particles satisfy the relation of (I) 20<=|Tb|<=50 and (II) 0.8<=Ta/Tb<=1.2. The obtd. developer is used for an image forming method including a process to form a latent image on a latent image holding body, a process to form a toner image on the latent image holding body with a nonmagnetic one-component developer on a developer carrying body, and a process to transfer the toner image to a transfer body.</p> |
