PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably turn off interior electric power supply even at the time when electric power supply is cut in a disaster by providing at least any of electric power breaking, tremor sensing, signal judging, and controlling means with another electric power supply apparatus to supply electric power. SOLUTION: The claimed apparatus is provided with an electric power shutting switch 14 as an electric power shutting means, an acceleration seismograph apparatus as a tremor sensing means, a signal judging means 16 to judge whether a signal indicates a prescribed tremor or not, and a controlling circuit 17 to cut a switch 14 when the means 16 judges an earthquake tremor as a controlling means. Moreover, the apparatus is provided with a tremor sensing means testing apparatus 18 and, for example, a chargeable battery 19 as another electric power supply apparatus. Consequently, even in the case electric power supply is stopped due to an earthquake, the means 16 judges that the seismic intensity is at a prescribed level or higher with the battery 19 and shuts off switches 15 of all households. As a result, even at the time when electric power supply is started again, a secondary disaster, e.g. a fire, can reliably be prevented. |
