<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct not only the switching defect and leakage defect of thin- film transistors(TFTs) but the line defect by the disconnection of signal lines as well. SOLUTION: Picture element electrodes 5 are formed on insulating films 21 disposed to cover over the scanning lines 1, the signal lines 2 and the TFTs 4 and are electrically connected to the drain electrodes of the TFTs 4 via through-holes 23 disposed on the insulating films 21. Each of the respective picture element electrodes 5 is provided with one pad 16 extended from the pixel electrode 5 so as to be superposed on the signal line 2.</p> |
