PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it efficient to store and take out the connection part and extra-length part of an overhead coated optical fiber. SOLUTION: This structure is provided with a coated optical fiber connection part storage case 5, a coated optical fiber extra-length storage plate 6, and plural coated optical fiber guides 21-24 which are in a flat cylindrical shape having an external diameter larger than the permissible minimum curvature of winding of a coated optical fiber 11 and equipped with plural jump-out preventive claws 27 for preventing wound coated optical fibers 11 from jumping out at the cylindrical shape peak parts, and provided on the coated optical fiber extra-length storage plate 6 so that they can move between specific positions on the coated optical fiber extra-length storage plate 6. It is convenient when the coated optical fiber storage plate 6 is equipped with plural guide rail 28 and the coated optical fiber guides 21-24 are movable along the guide rails 28. At least two of the coated optical fiber guides 21-24 are arranged in two arrays on the coated optical fiber extra-length storage plate 6 and the coated optical fiber guides in one array and the other array are preferably different in height. |
