<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color liquid compsn. to form color pixels which enables controlling of colors even in a thin film and to provide a thin film color filter having excellent characteristics for a color liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: This color liquid compsn. for a color filter contains a pigment, a material expressed by formula, a polynm. initiator and water. In formula, R1 is an oleophilic group, R2 and R3 are groups having ethylene type unsatd. bonds, and n and m are integers 5 to 50. A color pixel pattern comprising a hardened coating film of the color liquid compsn. above described is formed on a transparent substrate. The color pixel pattern is produced by applying the color liquid compsn. containing a pigment, a material expressed by formula, a polymn. initiator and water on a transparent substrate, drying the compsn. to form a film, polymerizing the compsn. to form a hardened film, irradiating the film with laser light in the area except for the area to be formed as color pixels so as to vaporize the irradiated part of the hardened film.</p> |
