Furrow cutter for agricultural machine

The cutter has a component (3) comprising at least one disc (4) with arms (5) arranged in star formation. These arms curve in or against the direction of rotation (6). At least two independently rotatably located furrow cutter components are provided. The arms of the discs, at least approximately, narrow outwardly. The outer ends of the arms are angled at 15 deg to the remaining parts of the arms. The ends of the arms have a length between 3cm and 4cm. The cutter component comprises at least one concavely arched disc toothed on the outer periphery. The teeth at least partly in addition to the concave arching of the disc are bent in continuation of the concave arching.
