<p>A retrieval device for insertion into a tubular biological lumen of the human or animal body, including a supporting sleeve (1) with a first axial cavity (2), pusher means (3) slidable within the axial cavity, first control means for causing relative movement of the pusher and the supporting sleeve, and flexible gripping means including gripping members (7) circumferentially arranged on the pusher so that they extend forwards within the supporting sleeve and spread out radially when outside said sleeve. The distal end of each gripping member has a hook for engaging an inner surface of a tubular part to be retrieved from the lumen and radially compressing said part when a pulling force is exerted thereon.</p> |
