Locking device to secure safety roller shutters

The device comprises shutters (16,18) which are connected to a winding shaft (22). The device consists of cams (28) on the top shutter bar (16), and a height-adjustable stop (26) on the shutter case (10). Elements (36) for adjustment and fastening of the stop are located on the outside of the case for access. The stop acts with the cam through a slot in the case wall. It projects with a leg into the case interior, and blocks the cam, when an attempt is made to push the closed shutters upwards. The cam projects from the front face of the top shutter bar. The stop is located on the rear wall (24) of the shutter case, above a guide rail (12) for the shutters.
