The interchangeable CD storage system, (DUCAL) is a storage system for both, single and double CD's. It consists of individual compartments for single CD's, which are partioned by spring parts. Single CD's can be slided between the spring parts. Double CD's can be stored in any 2 desired compartments for single CD's. The spring parts in the middle of 2 compartments for single CD's will be pushed down by introducing a double CD. The interchangeable CD storage system offers besides the possibility to store single and double CD's in any order without leaving a space, and while no part of the rack has to be loosened or moved to make storage of double CD's possible, the choice of horizontal of vertical storage.
