In colour photographic silver halide (AgX) material with a base, blue-, green- and red-sensitive layers containing yellow, magenta and cyan couplers respectively and light-insensitive layer(s), at least one blue-sensitive layer contains a malonic ester half amide derivative of formula (I) as yellow coupler and at least one of the light-sensitive and light-insensitive layers contains a 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)-4-phenyl-6-substituted-1,3,5-triazine of formula (II) as ultraviolet (UV) absorber; in which R, R1 = an optionally substituted alkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group; R2 = hydrogen (H) or R1; X = a group eliminated on reaction of (I) with the oxidation product of the colour developer; R<1>, R<3> = H, halogen, hydroxyl (OH), mercapto, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyloxy, alkylthio, arylthio, -NR<5>R<6>, alkoxycarbonyl, carbamoyl or sulphamoyl; R<2> = H, OH, halogen or alkyl; R<4> = alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio or a group of formula (III); R<5> = H, alkyl or aryl; R<6> = H, alkyl, aryl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, sulphamoyl or sulphonyl; and m, n, o = 1, 2, 3 or 4.
